An exhaustive search of Land Title Office records and other official records is combined with careful and detailed searches on the ground for original survey evidence, prior to re-establishment of a boundary.

Surveys of Crown Land - Provincial & Federal
Under instruction of the Surveyor General, we conduct surveys of Crown Land being leased, purchased or developed. Work has included tree-farm license surveys for the B.C. Ministry of Forests, and on federally administered Crown Land, surveys of Indian Reserves and a joint USA/Canada survey of part of the Alaska Highway.

GPS Surveys
The Global Positioning System (GPS) is changing the way surveys are being completed. Morgan Stewart and Company has expertise using GPS technology in completing large scale control surveys over hundreds of kilometres as well as smaller more detailed surveys for mining and forestry clients.
